What is Crawl like?

One of you is the hero, the rest are monsters; whoever kills them takes their place.

One of you plays the hero going through random dungeons, and the other players are spirits who control every monster and trap trying to kill them. Whoever lands the killing blow becomes the new hero, so the role keeps changing hands. The hero collects XP, gold and items from shops, while the monsters evolve between floors with points the others earn. Whoever gets strong enough faces the final boss, controlled by the others. A game lasts about 30 minutes and is local only.
