What is Demonologist like?

You enter haunted locations with gear, identify the demon, and exorcise it before it kills you.

Up to four of you enter a cursed place, use equipment such as EMF readers, ouija boards, tarot cards and holy water to work out which type of evil spirit is there, and then exorcise it. The game responds to your real voice, so something you say out loud can trigger an event or open a hidden door. Between jobs you customize a safe house. Update 2.2.0 in September 2026 added the Black Platform 13 map and a new ghost.

Will your group like Demonologist?

Groups of two to four who like the Phasmophobia loop and want more maps and spirits to work through, or a single player, since it can also be played alone.

Anyone on console or Mac, since it's Windows only, or a PC under 16 GB of RAM or without an SSD, which the minimum requirements ask for.
