What is MechWarrior 5: Mercenaries like?

Up to four of you pilot mechs as one squad on missions for the host's mercenary company.

The host loads a campaign save and invites up to three friends, and everyone drops into the mission in one of the host's mechs, so the company needs enough mechs for the whole lance. You take on contracts against AI forces, and the payout and salvage go to the host's company, since the campaign belongs to the host. If someone disconnects, the AI takes over their mech. Instant Action skips the campaign and lets the group launch a single mission with settings the host picks.
