What is Sonic Origins like?

One of you plays Sonic and the other joins as Tails in Sonic 2 and Sonic 3 & Knuckles.

The collection has Sonic 1, Sonic 2, Sonic 3 & Knuckles and Sonic CD, and only two of them take a second player. In Sonic 2 and Sonic 3 & Knuckles one plays Sonic and the other follows as Tails on the same screen, hitting enemies and grabbing rings. If Tails falls he comes back, while if Sonic dies you both lose the life. Those two games also have a local race mode for two. Sonic 1 and Sonic CD are single player, and nothing is online.
