What is Survival Kids like?
You split up tasks on an island, gather, build and put together a raft to escape before dark.
A storm strands you on a series of islands that sit on the backs of giant turtles, and the group explores each one, chops trees, fishes, cooks and crafts the tools you need to get off it, while solving puzzles along the way. There's no inventory to manage, because you only need to gather the materials to craft something. Some jobs go faster with two, like felling a tree. You can play 2 in split screen on one console, or 2 to 4 online.
Will your group like it?
Families or friends with a Switch 2 who want a light co-op puzzle game where talking things through helps.
Groups without a Switch 2, since it's exclusive to it, or players who want hard survival, because it's built for kids and families.
