What is Children of Morta like?
Two members of the Bergson family clear dungeons together and share upgrades.
You play the Bergson family, guardians of Mount Morta, and each of you takes a family member to go down procedurally generated dungeons together and clear out enemies and bosses. After each run you go back to the family home, where the story moves forward, and leveling one character also helps the others. Local co-op shares one screen. Online co-op arrived on Steam in February 2022 and on Switch in January 2026, in Story and Family Trials modes, while the PlayStation and Xbox store pages still list it as to be added.
Will your group like Children of Morta?
Pairs who like action RPGs with a story and characters that level up between runs, on one couch or online on PC and Switch.
Anyone who wants more than two players, or online co-op on PlayStation or Xbox, since their stores don't list it yet. It is also rated ESRB Teen and PEGI 12 for blood and violence.
