What is Contra: Operation Galuga like?
Up to four in Arcade mode shoot aliens together, and the story takes two.
Bill Rizer and Lance Bean lead a story you can play with two, running and shooting through stages of aliens and bosses, and other characters with their own abilities join later. Arcade mode lets four play at once on the same screen, picking characters and going straight through the stages. There are three difficulty levels and extra challenge options. Everything is local, so the whole group needs to be in front of one screen with a controller each.
Will your group like it?
Groups of three or four on one couch who want a short, hard shooter, or a pair who wants to play the story together.
Friends in different houses, since there's no online mode, or anyone who wants four in the story, because it takes two.
