What is Nuclear Throne like?

Two mutants share the screen and shoot everything; you die fast and start again.

Each of you picks a mutant and shoots your way through the wastelands toward the throne, with weapons and mutations that change on every run and runs that end fast when you die. Two of you share the screen on PS4, Xbox One and Switch. On PC, Update 100 of December 5, 2025 raised local co-op to four players, reworked how you revive each other and added a custom mode, and console store pages still list two. The official game has no online mode.
