What is Dead Island like?

Banoi is a resort island overrun by zombies, where you take on quests as survivors. Combat is mostly melee, with weapons that wear out and get modified at workbenches.

The host opens a game with public or friends-only slots, and others drop in at any time as any of the four survivors (Sam B, Xian Mei, Logan or Purna). You can split up inside a zone, but everyone has to be together to enter some mission locations, and fast travel brings the whole group to the same spot. More players means more zombies. Each level-up gives a point for your character's skill trees, and dying only costs some cash before you respawn nearby.
