What is We Were Here like?

Split up in a castle, one describes what they see over walkie-talkie, the other solves puzzles.

You and a fellow prisoner try to escape Castle Rock, a mysterious place in Antarctica, each in a different spot and talking over walkie-talkies: one of you is confined to a small area while the other searches the halls for them, and each acts as the eyes and ears of the other. Both need a microphone and an internet connection, because the puzzles can only be solved by describing out loud what each one sees. Since October 2025 it has crossplay between PC, PlayStation, Xbox and Switch. It is free on Steam and costs $1.99 on PlayStation and Switch, where the online subscription is also required.

Will your group like We Were Here?

Yes

Two people who are happy to talk the whole time, even if they are on different platforms, and want to try the series for free.

Anyone who doesn't want to keep talking for the whole session, since the puzzles depend on it, or a trio, since it only holds two and each plays on their own device.
