Twelve co-op games in our catalog launched in 2026, counting early access starts and games that reached 1.0, and three more dates are set before the year ends: crossplay for The Division 2 in November, Rayman Legends Retold on December 3 and Path of Exile 2 going free on December 11.

Ubisoft's page doesn't mention online play. It was set for October 1 and delayed after it had gone gold. We don't have a page for the remake yet; the 2013 original, with 4 on one screen, is Rayman Legends.

Leaves early access on December 11 (Pacific time) as a fully free-to-play action RPG. Until then it costs money; once it's free it also fits free multiplayer games.

On by default, with a switch on the character selection screen. Clans move to crossplay with room for 100 instead of 50, and leaderboards reset. Ubisoft hasn't given a day; KitGuru reports a toggle on Nov 3, PC on Nov 10 and consoles mid-month, which Ubisoft hasn't confirmed.
Which new co-op games work on one couch?
Two of the twelve: REANIMAL, with two on one screen on every platform it's on, and Gears of War: E-Day, with two-player split screen on Xbox Series but not on PC. Rayman Legends Retold will be the third on December 3. For more, split screen games has the full list.
