What is Aniimo like?

The host brings up to three friends into their world, where you catch creatures and take on bosses together.

Once co-op unlocks after the opening part of the story, you add each other by player ID on the same regional server and the host invites up to three friends into their world. Together you explore, catch Aniimo with Aniipods and traps, and take on Alpha bosses, and some Sanctum puzzles need two players to solve. Everyone keeps the creatures they catch, but story quests and waypoints are saved only in the host's world, so it makes sense for whoever is furthest behind to host.
