What is Divinity: Original Sin 2 like?

The fantasy campaign has turn-based combat and dialogue choices, and you play it with characters you create who wield forbidden magic. Elements combine on the battlefield, such as electrifying water or igniting oil.

Each player controls their own character in a party of up to four, and friends can drop in and out of the campaign. Two of you can also play on one screen in split screen with controllers. In combat everyone takes their own turn with their own character, so the group has to agree on who sets up which combination. The story pits you against each other too, since only one character can become a god. Game Master mode lets one player run a custom story for the rest.
