What is Warhammer 40,000: Rogue Trader like?

The host makes the story calls while everyone else controls companions in turn-based tactical fights.

The host plays the Rogue Trader and makes the story decisions in conversations, and everyone else takes over one of the companions who travel with the captain or makes their own character with the Mercenary Steward in the first room, where up to two players can do it. In turn-based fights, each of you plays the turns of your own characters. In space battles the host splits the voidship among the group, so one player steers while others handle weapons or systems. Friends can join at any point in the campaign, and everyone pulls gear from the same shared inventory.
