What is Wartales like?

You split the units of one mercenary band between you and plan each turn-based fight together.

Each of you creates a character at the start of a new co-op campaign and controls your own mercenaries, and the whole band shares its money and loot. On the world map you can split up, but everyone has to be there to enter a town or a building. In a fight only the owner can move a character, and whoever acts first takes the turn, so you need to agree on the order. In camp, each tool like the cooking pot can only be used by one player at a time, and items change hands through a shared chest.
