What is Mario + Rabbids Kingdom Battle like?

Two of you split the heroes in turn-based co-op challenges, each with your own Joy-Con.

Co-op runs apart from the story: once the Buddy Dome is built near Peach's castle, two players pick a challenge and each picks a team of two heroes, such as Luigi or Rabbid Peach,. On the grid map you take turns moving behind cover and shooting, and the goal changes with each challenge, such as defeating a set number of enemies or escorting Toads to a point. Each world you clear in the solo campaign unlocks another set of co-op challenges, and a free update added a local Versus mode for two.
