What is Age of Mythology: Retold like?

Up to twelve of you face off in teams or against the AI, calling down god powers and mythic creatures.

The host opens a lobby for up to twelve players, you split into teams and fill any empty slots with AI, and each of you picks a major god from a pantheon such as the Greek, Norse, Egyptian or Atlantean. You gather resources and favor to grow your town, and every time you advance an age you choose one of two minor gods, which unlocks new myth units and god powers. A god power can be cast again once its cooldown ends, at a higher favor cost each time. The Arena of the Gods challenges can also be played in co-op.
