What is Hello Kitty Island Adventure like?

One friend visits the host's island to explore, cook and solve puzzles with the Sanrio characters.

One of you hosts and the other visits the host's island, always two players and one guest at a time. The host copies a code from the multiplayer app on their phone, and it expires after five minutes, so the guest has to type it quickly. The guest keeps their own inventory and uses the same tools, but can't start or finish most quests, only help with the host's. What they collect doesn't reach the host until the pair hits friendship level 15, which unlocks Shared Pickup. That level rises by doing tasks together, like selfies or collecting items.
